| Vineyard Cottage |
In 1998, we bought a hilltop property with a spectacular view. There was a small, brick
barn in the middle of the vineyard which we converted into a guest cottage. The barn's
exterior changed very little in the renovation, but inside we built a completely new
vacation house; designed to be comfortable and easy to maintain. Plumbing, heating,
and electric systems are all modern.
The house is located at the end of a private lane, inside a gated courtyard two minutes
walk to the shops but, in a green and private setting.
Ground level: (50sq.mt/465sq.ft) Open floor plan, with kitchen and dining area, living room,
and a half bath. Off the living room, a shady patio.
Upstairs: (50sq.mt/465sq.ft) Queen size bedroom, 2nd bedroom (twin beds) or studio,
Full bath: tub/shower. A panoramic balcony off both bedrooms catches the summer breeze.
Outside: The house is surrounded by gardens of flowers and and an orchard. There is a
handforged BBQ, table and and chairs , and a children's playhouse and swing set. In the
old vineyard, a pergola with hammocks, and sun lounges.

appliances (refrigerator, microwave, gas stove/electric oven, coffee maker), dishware,
flateware, utensils, washer, hairdryer, central heat, wood stove, ceiling fans, TV with

(especially for children), fixed phone line with ADSL Internet available.
